Pop Culture Hiroshima Philippines is coming to TOYCON starting with the NCR Qualifiers at TOYCON Summer Prelude!
Pop Culture Hiroshima is a Japanese “otaku” pop culture convention in Hiroshima City, featuring cosplay, a doujinshi market (artist alley-style), voice actress guests, idol stage, illustration exhibits, anisong karaoke, and more. The Philippines is honored to be part of this international lineup alongside Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, Korea, China, Vietnam, Indonesia, Taiwan, Malaysia, India, Germany, USA, and Spain.
NCR Qualifier Requirements (Please read):
– Open only to participants who have never been to Hiroshima, Japan (any visa type included).
– Must have your own passport and be a permanent resident of the Philippines.
– Must be a cosplayer and willing to follow organizer rules.
– Must be able to shoulder visa fees and personal expenses (if a pair can’t agree to the terms, the organizer may forfeit the team and pass the slot to the next pair).
– Highly recommended for contestants willing to support, promote, and assist the event.
– Participants under 18 must have parental consent.
Selected pairs will advance to the Grand Finals (Event & Venue TBA). The winning team will represent the Philippines at Hiroshima Pop Culture Japan 2026.
