Join CosClick, TOYCON’s very own cosplay photography contest, happening on Saturday, April 11! Gather your creativity, find your perfect subject, and turn your convention shots into contest-winning moments.

CosClick: TOYCON Cosplay Photography Contest Rules

1. Contest Schedule
 Shooting Period: All contest photos must be taken onsite during the official shooting period from 12:00 NN to 7:00 PM on Saturday, April 11. Subject matter has to be cosplayers.
 Submission Deadline: All entries must be submitted no later than 7:00 PM on Saturday, April 11.
 Contest Venue: Entries must be photographed within the event grounds during official event hours.

2. Editing Guidelines
 Skin Retouching: Allowed only for minor cleanup such as temporary blemishes, acne, scratches, or similar distractions.
 Natural Texture: Skin texture must remain natural. Excessive smoothing or overly processed skin is not allowed.
 Body Reshaping / Liquify: Permitted only for subtle and realistic corrections, such as posture adjustments or minor outfit alignment.
 Respectful Editing: Any body adjustments must remain respectful and must not drastically alter the subject’s proportions, appearance, or identity.
 Costume Integrity: Costume designs must not be digitally altered, enhanced, or changed in any way.

3. Prohibited Edits
 No Additional Elements: Entries must not include any added digital elements that were not captured in-camera.
 Not Allowed:
 No 3D models
 No overlays, particles, effects, or digital props
 No background replacement or compositing
 No artificial light effects such as lens flares, glow effects, or similar enhancements
 Authenticity Rule: The final image must remain faithful to the original photograph taken at the event.

4. Submission Requirements
 Submission Location: Entries must be submitted to the designated staff at the registration booth located by the Garden entrance.
 Entry Limit: Only one image / one entry per photographer will be accepted.
 File Format: Entries must be submitted in JPEG format only.
Image Size: Images must be at least 4000 x 6000 pixels at 300 DPI.
 File Naming Format: Files must be named using this format: firstname_lastname.jpg
Example: jay_tablante.jpg
 Required Information: Photographers must also provide the name of the cosplayer/s and the fandom/series represented in the image.

5. Consent and Usage
 Consent Form: All participating photographers must sign a consent form upon submission.
 Usage Permission: By joining, the photographer agrees to allow TOYCON PH and ProjEXcc to display submitted images on social media and related promotional materials connected to the contest.
 Promotion Use: Submitted entries may be used for contest announcements, featured posts, publicity materials, and event promotions.
