alpha yang is the musical project of Manila-born Chinese-Filipino producer and singer-songwriter Jacob Yulo. Originally conceived as a solo outlet for songs written in his bedroom, the project has since evolved into a sophisticated blend of indie pop and lo-fi textures.

He has expanded his reach far beyond his early DIY roots, accumulating a deep catalog of independent albums and professional production credits. His sound is a dreamscape of emotionally resonant soundscapes—a sonic sanctuary designed for quiet introspection and dreamy after-hours listening.

Following the latest rollout for his album Detours, alpha yang is now stepping into a brand-new era for 2026, with new tracks and experiences coming soon.
