“To
the Batmobile, let’s go!” is one of the famous line from the classic Batman tv
series during the late 60’s, but for others, they only remember the theme song
“ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-Batman”. For kids who enjoyed watching the classic animated
cartoon – The Adventures of Batman, I’m sure they are aware of the existence of
Bat-mite. The release of Tim Burton movie classic “Batman” gave us a view of how
our caped crusader the darker knight throw back the line “have you ever dance
with the devil in pale moonlight”, which the Joker almost forgot the he owns
that line in the first place. In comics many fans were shocked when Bane broke
Batman’s back, it was a crazy long story that gave birth to a new wearer of the
Batman costume, and it made us accept that someone can stand in for Batman if
ever Bruce Wayne wants to rest for awhile.
Endless release of toys,
video games, and bunch of merchandise piles up inside the Batman collector’s
room, and then for every season a new wave of Batman animated series comes in
and then followed by the first ever Batman movie trilogy created from the world
of director Christopher Nolan. It’s a Bat-timeless experience because the
Batmania never stops there, our wish came true when the writer Frank Miller’s
Dark Knight Returns graphic novel was adapted to two direct to DVD movie, and
it didn’t end there again…. because a new Batman was revealed for an upcoming
movie on 2016 and for the 1st time ever, we will see our Dark Knight go head to
head with another superhero with a Big S on his chest.
We’re so noisy
about Batman, because the caped crusader who fight crimes and wears bat costume
with colors of black, grey, blue or all black through different generations is
now celebrating its 75th anniversary. The global celebration was first revealed
by DC Comics, honoring the birth of the greatest detective and superhero of the
DC Comics world. Batman first appeared in Detective Comics # 27 on May 1939, the
comic character of Batman was created by artist Bob Kane and writer Bill
Finger.
DC Comics already declared that the global celebration for Batman
75th anniversary is on July 23, 2014, the celebration will be called “Batman
Day”, DC Comics partnered with thousands of comic book stores around the world
to give free special edition of DETECTIVE COMICS #27, a comic book reimagining
of Batman's first appearance in 1939. During Batman day, comic fans will also
