Viki Teams with YouTube to Bring Top Tezuka Anime to Fans Around the

Philippines, September 12, 2012 – Viki today launched a new Tezuka anime channel on
YouTube featuring hundreds of hours of free anime.

Through this new premium channel, fans around the globe will now have access to top Tezuka
anime titles with subtitles in their preferred languages.

For the first time, Viki will power subtitles in multiple languages on YouTube using their
Application Programming Interface (API). Videos on YouTube will automatically pull crowd-
sourced subtitles/captions powered by Viki’s community of avid fans.

With nearly 250 million words translated, Viki’s new anime channel brings an integrated subtitle
source to YouTube, creating access to a whole new audience for premium Japanese anime
content with top titles from Tezuka such as Astro Boy, Black Jack 21 and Kimba, The White Lion.
